Hello! My name is Emma Rodgers and I'm a junior at Mauldin High School. I am currently in Ceramics 2 learning a variety of advanced pottery and decorating techniques. I decided to continue taking ceramics as it was an easy and fun class for me. Despite many things being easy for me (i.e. adding details), there are still challenges that I face. The biggest one being trying to find ideas for my pieces, often leading me to experience artist block. However, I am able to overcome those challenges by finding inspiriation in other people's work, whether that be from my fellow classmates or images on the internet. Even though I have not explored other types of art, I still enjoy doing many other things apart from ceramics. Doing flips in gymnastics and hanging out with friends are among my favorite activites to do. Thank you for checking out my portfolio!
